7 Layer Taco Dip - Whip Up Something New

Seven Layer Taco Dip:

Ingredients:
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 oz) can refried beans
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese - softened
1 (16 oz) container sour cream
1 (16 oz) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 small head iceburg lettuce, shredded
1 (6 oz) can sliced black olives, drained
2 cups shredded cheese

1) In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread mixture onto a large serving platter.

2) Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bow. Spread over the refried beans.

3) Top the layers with salsa.

4) Place a layer of tomato, green bell peppers, green onions, lettuce and black olives.

5) Top with cheddar cheese and refrigerate until needed.

I made this for Emma's birthday party, and it was amazing. I got comments from everyone regarding how good it was. And, I am pretty sure that it took like 10 minutes to prepare and clean up. Try it!

I got this recipe on here.

Interesting recipe! At first I thought this had to go in the oven, but then I read the title again: a DIP. Sounds really good! Thanks for sharing.

leeswammes: When I found it, I thought that it was going to have to go in the oven, but it is served cold. Super yummy and easy; a must try!

mmmmm.... I love these dips. So great for parties & BBQs. But would you believe that I haven't ever made it myself?

Pretty sure I could have eaten that whole pan if baby girl wasn't taking up so much room in my tummy. It was SO good Brooke. Though I think I might be tempted to add some avacado. ;)

We used to have this all the time growing up. The recipe is a little different, but the same idea. I love it! I think I might need to make this again soon!
