Here are just a few pictures that were taken of us with the snow. So, I have mixed feelings about the snow... I think that it is beautiful, and I love when the ice freezes around the branches of trees and they are all shiny. I love how smooth untouched areas look, and how perfect the ground looks. I hate that it has to be freezing and gloomy for this to happen though. I don't like being cold at all, I don't like my feet getting wet, and I hate when my nose runs because it is redonk* cold. All in all, it was pretty cool that it snowed the day before my birthday minus the cold. Emma really liked the snow; she would have stayed out there all day if we would have let her. Here is a video that we took when she first saw all of the snow. Too Cute!
**redonk = redonkulous! Yes, this is a technical term, look it up I dare you!
We live within 4 miles of each other (Trish and my Mom). My Mom just moved to McKinney a few months ago, and I love having her so close. It makes it easy to stop by for a few minutes just to say hi and let her see Emma.
I'm with you on the love/hate, thing, although I admit every day when I drive home into McKinney I'm glad there's still snow on my yard--it's completely melted in Dallas. I kind of want it to snow again just so we have a fresh layer on the ground.
Love that picture of you and Emma with the big snowy branch. and yes, it's 5:20 am--been up for an hour.

Adorable! There is something about kids and snow. I haven't met one that doesn't love it yet. Do all you guys live really close together?

That snow is crazy! I can't believe how thick it is on those trees!
